What Practal is

Practal is a private professional network for doctors practising in India, and a way to find your next post without putting your CV on a job board. Hospitals brief a Practal recruiter; the recruiter brings the role to the doctors it actually suits.

Every role carries the salary it pays. That is not standard in Indian medical hiring and it is the single thing doctors tell us they want most — a listing with “salary as per norms” on it is a conversation you have to have four times before you learn whether it was ever worth having.

You do not need a CV to join. Fill your details in and Practal writes one from them — a proper document, yours to download whenever a hospital asks.

Who can join

Every doctor with a council registration. MBBS and the specialties above it, dental, and AYUSH — Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Siddha, Naturopathy. Nurses, technicians and hospital administrators are not on Practal, and that is deliberate: what reaches you is scoped to your profession and your grade.

A person at Practal reads every registration before an account opens. It is the same check a hospital’s credentialling office would run, done once, so it does not have to be run again every time you are put forward.

Your details are yours

A hospital does not see your name or your number when a recruiter puts you forward. They see the work — specialty, experience, city — and they learn who you are when you accept an introduction. Your registration number is never shown to a recruiter or a hospital at all; Practal checks it once and keeps it.

Nobody takes a cut of your pay. Practal is paid by the hospitals that hire, the way a search firm is, and never out of a doctor’s salary.

You can leave whenever you like. Write to team@practal.in and your profile and everything on it is deleted — or stop being visible to recruiters from your profile without deleting anything.
